Visiting a local Wal-Mart this weekend, I stumbled across the NEW Exclusove Comic-Book packs! They even had the A New Hope wave (except the Spacetrooper *bummer*). Apparently, they even found THREE Lucky Lekku Republic Gunships in their backroom (they're a bit beaten-up)! So, there IS some new stuff out there NOW!

Did you find anything worth reporting? An old figure for $1? (I did about a year ago, the Red Card Leia) GREAT clearanced price Exclusives? Please share with us! Thanks a lot!

What location?

I have been going to Rohnert Park, CA Walmart everyday and they have no sign of the new comic book packs. I visited Windsor, CA on Monday and no sign of them there either.

These places never get anything early, but worst yet Rohnert Park usually doesn't even get any of the exclusives. Honestly, I've only seen exclusives like the A-Wing and Droid packs at the Windsor location. The Rohnert Park location has a tiny toy section even though it's a big store. They do have plenty of space, but they keep they pegs and shelves half bare through non-Christmas seasons. Windsor is another hour out of my way. I can't believe Walmart doesn't list the exclusives on their website.

More so, I can't believe Hasbro lets Walmart get good exclusives. Everyone I know is disgusted with that store. I might end up paying eBay prices for the Ewok comic book pack. It's almost worth it to not deal with Walmart directly.

Target exclusives have been good in the past. Like the 2007 Hoth and Endor battle packs. They had enough for demand and their store is always clean.

I found the new Walmart comic packs here in Northern Va. They are great. I didn't think I would find them seeing my Walmarts never got the others. I also found the new Spacetrooper, Obi-wan, Cantina: Wioslea, Cantina: Brainiac, Trinto Duaba & Dice Ibegon. I haven't seen Stormtrooper LUke or Han yet, and I haven't seen the Jawa.
I got the new Tie Fighter for Clone Wars packaging and it is still white with some grey brush effects.

One of my Walmarts had a big cardboard display of the new comic packs. As nice as they all are, I had to limit myself to one so I picked the Rebel pilots.

That being said, I was quite excited to find some of the new Titaniums (I mentioned it in the Ti forum too). I've added the Twilight, The Virago, and the Neimodian and Rebulic Attack Shuttles to my ranks.

I picked up the New Hope wave a few weeks ago and found the new comic packs a week ago today. The new Rancor is available on Target's website too, but I haven't gotten one yet. February seems to be a good time to be an Original Trilogy collector.

Found the Scramble at Yavin Battle Pack today at my local Target. For an OT fan, it's hard to pass up a new Astromech and Rebel Pilot, not to mention an obscure new character (Rebel Ground Crewman) and "vehicle" (Transport). Pretty cool set, however the Ground Crewman looks like Ryan Stiles from the Drew Carey Show? You be the judge...

Here in Southern CA, Chino Hills,
They have all 3 exclusives in Walmart..but the ewoks set seems to be going faster than the other 2....as for individual packs they havent had anything new in months...and forget about GI JOE. The Target next to it did get the new Jabba and scramble packs and GI Joe GHOST HAWK and STING RAIDER.

Hey all,
I found the new Star Wars figures at Walmart on Wednesday. I found Captain Needa, The Emperor, Luke with repairing hand, Leia in white gown, Hoth Trooper with a beard, and the Ugnaught with the apron. I didn't see the Hoth Trooper without the beard or the Ugnaught w/ tusks. I don't know if they are really short packed or if they aren't being shipped yet. I was suprised I found the others. My Walmart had a good selection this go around. Thought I would let you guys know they are out now.

Woohoo!! Saw the Magnaguard Starfighter and Vulture Droid at Target yesterday (in Lake Charles, LA of all places). Now, I need to check my local ones to see if I can find them as they wouldn't fit in my luggage.

Bump to add:

Just found the new Titanium Hound's Tooth and Clone Wars Y-wing at TRU (I also saw the Hound's Tooth at a Walmart). My Titanium shelf floweth over!

Another bump: I was at TRU today and they had the new deluxe figure sets out (Crab Droid, BARC w/Clone, Anakin w/bug, Droid w/mini-tank). I was tempted by the crab droid but ultimately passed on them all.

I only saw one Walmart shipment of bearded Hoth Rebel troops about two weeks ago. Are they still going to release the clean shaven Hoth Rebel troop? Was Needa in this lot? I haven't see him either.

BTW: I got two more B-Wings for $30 - 20% off clearance = $24.xx each. (Awesome!) Someone bought three B-Wings, removed the pilots, returned the B-Wings resealed and TRU accepted them and placed them back on the shelf. That manuver is almost as bad as returning the 2007 Optimus Prime in the 2009 Optimus Prime package.

The "Clean Shaven" Hoth Trooper WILL be released, but NOT until the new red/white Legacy Collection figures are released (same goes for the OTHER Ugnaught (no smock)). I was lucky enough to score the ENTIRE wave last week at my local Wal-Mart (Central New York). They must've had a DOZEN cases of them!

Needa is a GREAT figure! Though he IS technically a repaint (the 30th Anniversary Death Star Trooper) only with an officer's cap. Never-the-Less he IS a terrific fig! The Hoth Trooper is an A+, the Ugnaught is a B, Emperor Palpatine is a solid C due to being an UGLY repaint of the Evolutions figure (except a lightsaber INSTEAD of lightning!?!?!?), Medical Ship Luke is a B+ a GREAT addition for your collection, Leia is kinda lame...B.

As for Titanium Series, I picked up Davish Krail's Gold 5 Y-wing, Hyena Droid Bomber, and the "Xanadu Blood" a.k.a. Cad Bane's painted MagnaGuard fighter. I've NEVER even HEARD of this ship! It's kinda cool! Think it'd be hard-to-find?

Hey, guys! Thought you'd like to know the Attack of the Clones wave IS out there! I just scored Obi-Wan Kenobi, Tarados Gon, Captain Typho, and Owen Larrs with the pieces to build HK-47!!! I STILL can't seem to find Beru, though.... AWESOME figures all around!

Found Red 2 and Wedge today in Jacksonville, Fl. Only one store in the area had them in the back and in stock. I love this set. DPCI: 087-06-0629

The Kyle Katarn CP wave is also hitting my area, but I have yet to see that set.

Katarn is the only comic pack I haven't found yet.

Also, I picked up the Walmart exclusive Clone Wars "Rookies" 2-packs with Yoda, Jek, Thire and Rys. Thanks for the DPCI for the X-wing - I'm looking forward to that.
